I'm a pediatric radiologist who had acute disabling sciatica. I was referred for neurosurgical opinion. Dr. Henkin and his office staff were down to earth and friendly and overall, competent. Dr. Henkin was patient and explained everything I needed to know. I was treated very well and was walking normally immediately after surgery with a great recovery so far.

I had really bad sciatic nerve pain in my leg and could not stand for any period of time. After having a mri done, Dr Henkin diagnosed a cyst on my spine pushing on my nerve. He scheduled surgery and after the surgery I was able to walk without pain. I would recommend Dr Henkin to anyone. Very nice person to talk to and he made the whole experience go smooth. If you’re looking for a neurosurgeon don’t hesitate to make an appointment. And yes your first visit you might have to wait awhile,but it’s well worth it. Oh yes and his staff are very professional and friendly.
