Dr. Henkin earned his undergraduate degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and worked as an international engineering consultant for two years. He returned to school to complete his medical degree at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Henkin completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Upon residency graduation in 1998, Dr. Henkin launched his neurosurgery practice in Florida. Since then, he has provided full-spectrum neurosurgery for brain tumors, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and many other neurological problems in adults.
